Role Available : Collection Officer Duties 1. Maintain and monitor accounts to ensure efficient recovery. 2. Administration and written communication with clients, debtors, accountants and solicitors to maintain and monitor accounts to ensure efficient recovery. 3. Where applicable, action all Personal Collector calls in a timely manner with a view to getting a payment commitment, payment plan or dispute resolution. 4. Maintain an effective and thorough follow up programme on all files, ensuring all action is recorded so that customer can be advised by any RMS staff member. 5. Action/respond to all written and verbal communication with assigned customers and debtors to ensure collection activity runs smoothly and efficiently. 6. Work closely and communicate effectively with RMS sales, support staff and other divisions so that important information can be shared and gained to ensure good customer relations. 7. When dealing with a high volume of debtors, manage and prioritise work load. 8. When experiencing unavailability of consumer debtors, send letters and undertake after hours telephone calls. 9. To overcome training inadequacies, identify and address operation problems. 10. Plan debt recovery action in relation to targets, commission rates and renewals. 11. Ensure all legal authorisations are up to date and processed before month end. 12. Ensure debtor letters are queued where necessary at 7 day intervals. 13. Shop Hours
37.5 hours per week. shifts range from 8am-8pm, and Saturday 9am-3pm
$32-$Depending on Work Experience
Experience in Debt Collection or Arrears Management is favorable but not exclusively required. As is experience in a high performance Call center favorable but not exclusively required.
